Newcastle and Tottenham in transfer battle for Guehi
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi. The 22-year-old has been impressive for the Eagles this season, making 33 appearances in all competitions.
Guehi is a product of Chelsea's academy, but he left the club in 2021 in search of regular playing time. He has now established himself as one of the most promising young defenders in the Premier League.
According to the Mirror, Newcastle and Tottenham are both keen on signing Guehi in the summer. The Magpies are looking to strengthen their defence, while Spurs are in need of a new centre-back following the departure of Toby Alderweireld.
Osimhen set to join Man Utd
Manchester United are reportedly close to signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for the Serie A club this season, scoring 18 goals in 32 appearances.
Osimhen is a powerful and clinical striker, and he would be a major addition to the United squad. The Red Devils are in need of a new striker, as Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
According to the Sun, United are confident of signing Osimhen for a fee of around £80 million. The Nigerian international is said to be keen on moving to Old Trafford, and he is expected to sign a five-year contract with the club.
Washington rejects new Wigan deal
Wigan Athletic defender Curtis Washington has rejected a new contract offer from the club. The 29-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the season, and he is now free to talk to other clubs.
Washington has been a key player for Wigan this season, making 35 appearances in all competitions. However, he is said to be unhappy with the club's current financial situation.
According to the Wigan Post, Washington is now likely to leave the club in the summer. He is expected to attract interest from a number of Championship clubs, as well as clubs from abroad.
Elangi set for Man Utd loan move
Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga is set to join Championship club Birmingham City on loan for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Red Devils this season, but he has only started four of those games.

Eriksen set for Brentford return
Christian Eriksen is set to return to Brentford on a short-term contract until the end of the season. The 30-year-old has been without a club since leaving Inter Milan in December.
Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark at Euro 2020, but he has since been fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).
According to Sky Sports, Eriksen is now ready to return to playing football. He is expected to sign a short-term contract with Brentford next week, and he could make his debut for the club in the FA Cup fourth round match against Port Vale on Saturday.
