Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 15, for Game 1 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers. The two teams will meet in the championship series for the first time since 1990, when the Oilers won their fifth Stanley Cup in seven years.
The Oilers advanced to the Final by defeating the Winnipeg Jets in five games in the Western Conference Final. The Panthers reached the Final by beating the Carolina Hurricanes in four games in the Eastern Conference Final.
This is the first time the Oilers have reached the Stanley Cup Final since 2006. They are looking to win their first Stanley Cup since 1990.
The Panthers are making their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final since 1996. They are looking to win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
